Plant Manager
The main focus for this role will be leadership, change management and efficiency of the plant. The Plant Manager will have the overall responsibility for the performance of the Sonoco tube and core plant in Norrköping. Through innovative thinking and systematic work with continuous improvement, you will drive processes forward and coach and develop the staff, utilizing their skills and creativity. The Plant Manager will take the necessary initiatives to ensure improvement of our safety performance, productivity, efficiency and quality. The Plant Manager ensures operational excellence and focuses on the plant's profit and loss numbers with its respective drivers. You will work in an international environment in a broad role that requires a wide point of view. You will be responsible for a team of 16 operators and one supervisor. You will report to Regional Operations Manager and be a member of the management team. Geographiclly this position is based in Norrköping, Sweden.


Main tasks
Responsible for the development of employee capacity, people’s involvement and commitment of staff
Responsible for the budget and necessary investments
Direct the planning, development, optimization, and implementation of manufacturing methods and processes
Be the main ‘driver’ for continuous improvement of the production processes
Ensure a safe work environment
Liaise with regional sales teams



Your qualifications
Degree in Engineering
Background in manufactort industry
Experience in a leading position
Experience of change management and knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma
Background in an international environment
Fluent in Swedish and English

Excellent team player and strong interpersonal skills
Hands-on but capable to delegate
Outstanding troubleshooting
