Plant Manager
The main focus for this role will be leadership, change management and assure the efficiency of the plant. The Plant Manager will have the overall responsibility for the performance of the plant in Markaryd and will take the necessary initiatives to ensure improvement of safety performance, productivity, efficiency and quality. As a leader, you will be responsible for a team of 10 operators, and for coaching and development of the staff, utilizing their skills and creativity. You will also ensure operational excellence and focus on the plant's profit and loss numbers with its respective drivers. Through innovative thinking and systematic work with continuous improvement, you will drive processes forward in this role that requires a wide point of view. You will report to the Regional Operations Manager and you will be a member of the management team in Sweden. Geographically this position is based in Markaryd, Sweden.


Main tasks
Responsible for the development of employee capacity, people’s involvement and commitment of staff
Direct the planning, development, optimization, and implementation of manufacturing methods and processes
Be the main ‘driver’ for continuous improvement of the production processes
Responsible for the budget and necessary investments
Ensure a safe work environment
Liaise with regional sales teams



Your qualifications
Degree in engineering
Background in manufacturing industry preferred
Experience in team lead/supervisor role or as a specialist wanting to take the step towards leading positions
Experience of change management and knowledge of Lean Six Sigma
Background in an international environment is a benefit
Fluent in Swedish and English
Drivers license
