Do you want to be part of our journey developing and industrialize a new, innovative man-made cellulosic fiber technology that will provide textile fibers with a sustainable performance? Come and join us at TreeToTextile! We are now entering an up-scaling phase and building a demo plant at Stora Enso’s Nymölla Mill, and we are looking to strengthening our team with a Plant Manager.
YOU WILL
The construction of demonstration plan at Stora Enso´s Nymölla Mill will start in spring 2021. The raw material used at the plant will primarily be dissolving pulp from Stora Enso´s Enocell Mill in Finland. The aim is to significantly reduce the environmental footprint of the textile industry and to make sustainable textile fibers available to all.
As Plant manager you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the demo plant including managing employees, production, efficiency and safety and liaising with the Stora Enso parent mill. The main focus is the upscaling of TTT´s process and developing it in a manner that set targets are met.
Besides running and managing the day-to-day operations you will be expected to manage supplier management, product quality, safety and on-time shipping. The Plant manager is also responsible for innovation, information and data security as well as HR-related questions.
You will, together with your managerial team, support the organization with your expertise, analyzing all facets of production and liaising with the team to execute on plans for improvements, optimizations and capacity-issues.
The well-being of your team-members will naturally be a focal point along with minimizing the carbon footprint.

The prerequisites are strong stakeholder management where you need to be an excellent communicator to owners-, public- and other actors of interest. You are well acquainted with the importance of being decisive. You thrive in an environment that holds uncertainties, where you will solve issues at hand and ensuring progress based on targets and goals.
We believe that you are analytical and use accurate data in your decision-making process. It is essential that you have previous management experience and knowledge of various aspect of business such as safety, production, finance, HR, supply and demand management. Previous experience from building a process-oriented business will of course be a merit.

- Ability to make decisions under pressure and in fast pace environment
You have a relevant university Degree in chemistry, engineering or similar relevant field. You are also fluent in English; written and spoken.
