Plant Manager

We offer you a possibility to lead the largest factory within FläktGroup, with approximately 550 co‑workers. Your responsibility will be to ensure a safe, sustainable and profitable organization in aspect of both our people, products and customer focus.
As Plant Manager you will be responsible for developing, motivating, coaching and leading the operations organization and management team in Jönköping. By continuing to work with our lean production system and focus on increasing efficiency and productivity through lead times, production costs and inventory levels, you will achieve operational excellence delivering on our Global Strategy.
In our matrix organization, the Plant Manager is a key person in building and developing relationships on local level, within our Business Areas as well as with FläktGroup´s network of plant managers and other stakeholders in the Group. You will report to Chief Operations Officer, placed in Italy.
Your profile
You are a senior manufacturing manager with significant previous experience in leading a medium-size business which entails budget and profit responsibility. You have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar, together with a strong practical knowledge in the lean manufacturing tools. Due to our global set up, it is crucial that you master Swedish and English fluently both spoken and in writing.
To be successful in this role, we believe it is important that you are a goal-oriented change agent with a passion for continuous improvements. Strong leadership skills and gravitas together with excellent communication skills are qualities we like you to have. You also have the ability to keep a holistic approach together with a hands-on leadership where you are willing to spend most of your time in the shop floor together with your team. Your team will appreciate you for a proactive ‘can-do attitude’ and the ability to include others in both initiatives and decision makings. Experience from the industry is a plus.
