What you will be doing
The MDM Platform director develops and executes business strategies to achieve short and long-term success and partner ecosystem growth. You work proactively with business development and broadening Avensia’s s Modern Commerce offering through evaluating and onboarding new partnerships in the Partner Ecosystem. In this role, you will secure operational, tactical, and strategical excellence with our partner Riversand by maintaining a direct and active relationship, including proactively resolving business and technical issues and serving as an internal advocate.
Technical Responsibilities
- Proactively develop and drive technical and business strategies to achieve short and long-term partner ecosystem goals, based on customer requirements as well as market analysis and market trends
- Develop and maintain relationships with partners and build trust through deep technical expertise of their platforms and customer needs
- Be our expert on partner offerings and technical capabilities; partner with sales teams to recommend and up-sell partner solutions
- Support the organization during the presales as well as project phases to develop, manage and grow partner relationships with a focus on technical aspects (i.e., technical presentations, training, consultations, and best practices)
- Help projects resolve technical issues and roadblocks they encounter with partner solutions working in tandem with support and partner engineering teams.
Commercial Responsibilities
- Supporting IM Management in settling the Partner agreements and commercial models
- Commercially responsible for securing kickbacks and referrals
- Support IM Management in setting a clear Way of Working with partners in both new sales pursuits as well as securing good relationships and deliveries in ongoing projects.
Tasks
- Communicate and collaborate with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders in Sales Product, Development, Delivery, Marketing, and Legal
- Take part in partner releases and new features and align with Avensia’s offering and delivery
- Maintain budget, forecast, and YTD analysis of kickbacks and referrals
Who are you
To be successful in this role we believe you have:
- At least 10 years of work experience with extensive knowledge in Master Data Management
- At least 5-10 years experience working in complex projects such as MDM/ERP/Integrations
- Several years of experience working as a Solution Architect or similar
- Good knowledge in, and experience working with, Riversand
- Strong business acumen and experienced consultant
- Experience in working with building strong partnerships, both on a strategical and tactical level
- Great communicative skills
