Position description
Would you like to play a central role in developing the future diagnostic services and tools for the Volvo Group’s aftermarket solutions?
Would you like to have the responsibility for a portion of a larger technology/service eco-systems?
As Platform Engineer CICD in Diagnostic Engineering, you will be involved in full lifecycle of diagnostic service-based solutions supporting AB Volvo Aftermarket needs.
You will be responsible for driving the CICD pipeline bridging gaps between development and operation activities and teams by enforcing automation in building, testing and deployment of applications.
You have previous experience from deploying and driving large context CICD pipeline and/or platform architect role in Automotive domain involving Embedded Software and/or related services area including Product life cycle management (New development and operations/execution-DevOps). You should have more than 5 years’ experience within the area.
To succeed in this role, you must be willing to develop your skills within the area, have a can-do attitude and mentality and be driving for results.
Relevant Knowledge/Experience
A Master- or Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Electrical Engineering, Physics Engineering or Mechatronics/Automation Engineering or Computer Science)
Excellent knowledge in agile SW development way of working including continuous integration / continuous delivery / continuous deployment
Excellent knowledge of the equipment for electronics System testing (CANoe, CANalyzer, etc.)
Excellent knowledge in CAPL scripting
Good knowledge in python, ethernet protocols development and usage, DOIP
Good knowledge in Virtual methods, Data Analytics, Machine learning, Model Based Design, Extended Vehicle / Automotive knowledge, System architecture (Full system on/off board)
Good knowledge about electronics / embedded SW development
Good knowledge in programming (Python, Javascript/Typescript)
Basic knowledge of vehicle communication protocols (J1587, J1939, CAN, UDS, etc.)
SAFe and ISTQB certificates are merits
Knowledge about programming languages GoLang, C#, .NET is a merit
Knowledge about automotive diagnostics software and tools are considered to be a merit
Excellent English, other languages, and experience of work in a multi-cultural environment are also considered to be a merit
