We are seeking a Platform Owner to work with our versatile, dynamic and global international team that we call the Commercial and Digital (C&D) Domain. You want to drive the development of reusable digital platforms components, as well as supporting the existing ones, in order to grow the technical excellence for the strategic products/experiences in the brand.
We are looking for you, who has strong leadership skills and is passionate about finding solutions to difficult problems. You are a strong communicator and motivated by working both independently and in cross-functional teams. You are an initiative taker, and you lead and develop change, to create a better everyday life outside of the home by developing virtual and physical meeting places where people can meet shop and connect with their communities. You get energy of working agile in an ever-changing complex and multi-dimensional environment.
Of course, you share and live our culture and values, and we believe you have:
· higher education in computing science.
· strong understanding of IT platforms and IT architecture principles
· proven more than 5 years, experience being the owner for several platforms (CRM, CMS, IM, etc) in B2C \ B2B area
· knowledge to engineer and design information technology systems that enable agility and flexibility to respond to customer needs.
· knowledge of the process of documenting, analyzing, tracing, prioritizing and agreeing on requirements with control over change and communication with relevant stakeholders.
· knowledge of how to set up, manage and track progress for software development in accordance with the scrum-methodology.
· knowledge on how to establish and performing a sourcing event strategy and objectives, establish minimum requirements and gating process, developing a shortlist of suppliers for possible RFP, planning a negotiation, communicating, and evaluating approach.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
The responsibility of the Platform Owner is to prioritize, coordinate and manage the development and operation of platforms; to actively manage the platform backlog, enabling product teams and platform users to utilize the platform capabilities effectively and efficiently.
What you’ll do every day:
· prioritize, coordinate and manage the development and operation of platforms
· manage the platform backlog, enabling product teams and platform users to effectively and efficiently utilize the platform capabilities
· manage 3rd party Developer’s team
· maximize the business value resulting from the development and operation of the digital platform, and also ensuring required technologies, toolsets and supporting services, by making trade-off decisions as needed
· ensure the Dev team has a good understanding of the platform roadmap, including decomposing of functionality
· involve in sprint planning meetings to help provide clarity and elaborate features and user stories to help the team better understand the requirements and how success will be measured
· work with relevant Domain and Meeting Place stakeholders to understand and qualify their needs and requirements, ensuring they are included and integrated into the platform as needed
· act as a subject matter expert for the team, providing insight, context and additional information as needed to help to understand what is required
· work collaboratively with other Platform & Product Owners across Digital to refine the backlog and identify cross journey dependencies
· Work cross-functional to ensure that the agile team has what it needs and remove blockers that prevent the agile team to maximize the delivery of digital products
You will report to Platform Area Manager, and your place of work will be Malmö, Sweden.
