Platform Program Purchasing Manager, Carton Economy Supply Chain Capital Equipment

Would you like to be part of Supply Chain Capital Equipment Supplier Management group?
You'll be a member of our international team, working in a strong cooperation with suppliers and Development and Engineering, providing value to Tetra Pak's customers through focus on Performance (Quality, Cost and Delivery), Standardization and People Engagement.

Within Tetra Pak, Supply Chain Operations Capital Equipment (CE SCO) is responsible for the manufacture and supply of filling machines and distribution equipment from receipt of order until performance is achieved at the customer's site.Program Purchasing team primarily interfaces with the Development & Engineering organization to define and achieve its project targets.We are responsible for organizing, managing and driving technology/development related sourcing, which contributes to the delivery of new machines to our customers at the right quality, time and cost.

In this position, as Platform Program Purchasing Manager, Carton Economy, you will drive and secure early involvement of suppliers and purchasing competence.Support definition of target cost.Drive deployment of targets into the Supply Chain, contributing to overall quality/time/cost effectiveness of new developed products.Reporting to the Manager, Program Purchasing, you will be expected to lead initiatives and drive activities independently.The position will be based in Lund.

Your major responsibilities will be to:
-Develop the Early Involvement strategy for the Packaging Platform, following and developing the New Product Introduction process
-Coordinate within the other SM departments the sourcing of potential suppliers, fitting to Product Development requirements, supporting make or buy analyses.
-Secure and drive guidelines, method and implementation of cost analisys in TCO perspective, supporting strategic decision for Product and Technology Development
-Secure confidentiality, Intellectual Properties rights protection and legal compliance by managing supplier relationship


Kvalifikationer

To be successful in this role you have a University degree, ideally in Engineering or Economics.You are fluent in English both written and spoken.Ideally you have at least 3 years of experience in people management in an international company.You have at least 3 years of technical and/or commercial and project management experience.Knowledge of World Class Manufacturing is required.

You have strong communication skills and have the ability to create long-term partnerships; you are capable of using informal authority to motivate people and to influence at all levels in the organisation.As a person you are a driver and decisive, you have a systematic approach to problem definition and problem solving and you can transfer mid/short strategies and plans into actions.Good skills in suppliers' management, project management, cost analysis and control are essential.The position demands a high level of commercial and negotiation skills.
