Etraveli Group is a leading global technology provider for Flights focused on offering the best possible flight content delivered through flexible tech solutions. We are looking for a Platform Software Engineer with previous experience in scalable web applications. The number of years of working experience is of minor importance, but we expect you to be skilled and interested in improving existing systems. You will be an important part of our success!
What you will do
You will be part of our Platform Team and in collaboration with colleagues you will we work to improve our systems, tools and processes in order to simplify for the development team´s implementation and deployment of new functionality.
Your support will be provided through automation using building systems, pipelines and refactoring of existing code. If you also have an interest in new scalable technologies, e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka and NoSQL databases you will really enjoy working with us.
Tech stack: Java, Gradle/Maven, Jenkins, IntelliJ, Kubernetes/Docker, MySQL/MemSQL, Couchbase, Groovy, Linux, Bash, Pyton, .Net, Graph QL, React, Node JS.
Requirements
Technical skills
Academic education in the IT field or equivalent education
Excellent communication skills in English, oral presentations and in writing.
We operate in a mixed Linux environment in our data centers and AWS so knowledge, or interest, in these environments is simply said, very good!
