The Player Relations & PR Manager is key to all our player relationship building efforts. In this role you are responsible for building and maintaining a strong relationship with our community, influencers and other media partners. As the leader of a team of Community Managers you will set clear goals that empowers the team to work proactively and independently.
The Player Relations and PR Manager is the main point of contact for external PR agencies and you are responsible for driving this partnership.

This position serves the Systemic Reaction division within Avalanche Studios Group and reports to the Head of Marketing, Systemic Reaction.
Responsibilities
Lead the creation of our community strategy for games published by the division
Manage the community team and empower its members to work proactively and independently towards agreed upon goals
Lead the creation of the influencer strategy, both organic and paid, for games published by the division
Identify new ways of engaging influencers long-term and empower Community Managers to support these efforts
Be the main point of contact between the division and external PR agency
Coordinate regular PR tasks such as press releases, as well as asset production necessary to support launches, updates, announcements
Support Product Marketing Managers in crafting IP-specific PR strategies together with our external PR agency
Report on our PR and communications activities supporting our self-published and published IPs
Ensure the team has access to the tools needed to plan-, execute- and track activities within community management, influencer activations and PR activations
Qualifications
Previous experience from managing direct reports
Experience from working at a video game publishing organisation
Community Management experience from the video game industry
Influencer Management experience from the video game industry
Works well in a matrixed organization and is a team player
Outstanding communication, presentation and relationship building skills
