Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) is a fast-growing area where many new innovations are developed and driven. Colleagues from all divisions and departments worldwide touch into PLM on daily basis. As an PLM Solution Development Manager, you would be operating in global key areas and play a crucial role in implementing both innovation initiatives and effectiveness improvements within the PLM area. The main PLM applications are Teamcenter, Creo and AutoCAD Electrical and so far, it covers R&D, Production and Service functionality but the functional area is growing. We have a large roadmap of future projects both with new functionality, upgrades, and improvements as well as migrations and new site roll outs.

Your mission

The mission of the Solution Development team is to deliver solutions on time within budget and the right scope in a predictive manner, most often in project form. It is also responsible for driving efficiency in the change process for new development. This team delivers early high-level estimations and solutions proposals on new PLM demands, plan, execute and follow-up to secure delivery of new solutions within PLM area. 

In this role, you will manage and lead the Solution Development team of ~10 people including consultants and be responsible for the PLM development plan and counterpart to business representatives related to new development demands and estimations. You will have responsibility for supplier relationships (services) and continuously ensure organizational efficiency and delivery capability. You will be a member in the PLM Solutions management team reporting to the PLM Solutions manager.

Your Profile

To be successful in this role, we believe you should have a university degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience as an architect or scrum master with good knowledge of and interest in the PLM domain. You have proven management experience combined with the experience of solutions definitions and estimations. 

You are a team player who sees the team’s contribution as the ultimate goal. You are self-controlled, and communicative, with a good level of English in speaking and writing. You are a natural leader with drive and independence with good planning and organizing skills including resource planning. Self-assurance, and the confidence to purposely drive toward results while constantly problem-solving and engaging the commitment
of others is essential in this role.

If you speak Swedish and have knowledge about pm3 and ITIL, it is considered a plus.
