PLM Specialist

As PLM Specialist, you will champion, schedule, support and monitor all aspects of development and maintenance of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)/CAD/ERP Integration. You will also support other engineering application projects developed for internal and external use.
You will be an important part of a committed team at our office in Gothenburg, Sweden and report to the Application Supervisor.
Main activities and responsibilities
Lead design and implementation of Engineering Systems Architecture with focus on PLM-PDM
Manage and influence stakeholders across FlexLink at all levels of engineering teams for PLM engagements and responsible to build competence globally
Collect business requirements and drive functional designs. Influence correct interpretation of business requirements. Implement changes
Implement a common nomenclature and definitions, part and configuration standards across the company and work to set up a coherent PLM IT environment supporting global collaboration
Manage relationships with vendors, IT partners, and other PLM ecosystem players
Act as project manager for minor projects



Who are you?
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree specializing in mechanics, or equivalent IT education
5 years of relevant industrial or mechanical design experience
Proficient in English & Swedish
Proficient in SolidWorks, Inventor or similar CAD software
Product lifecycle management knowledge and experience working with PDM/PLM solutions - It is an advantage if you have experience with PTC Windchill and Aras Innovator PLM
Programming and database management – meritorious
