Do you want to shape the future? Vattenfall is now looking for the right person to fill the position as PMO (Program Management Office) Investment Decision Process Owner who will be part of the oversight of the Swedish decommissioning programmes in Ringhals, Ågesta and SVAFO, a part of BU Nuclear Decommissioning (BUND) within Vattenfall BA Generation.
The role “PMO Investment Decision Process Owner” is part of the unit Governance & Risk which is responsible for the program and project governance processes, risk and asset management processes. The unit is also supporting other parts of BUND in matters concerning follow-up of programs and projects. Within this unit we have a lot of experience in PMO work and are experts in the field of VPMM (Vattenfall Project Management Model), governance processes and the unit is the Single Point Of Contact (SPOC) regarding this for the BA / Group level. The unit consists of 10 people and consists of Swedish and German team members.
In this role, you will be a strong partner for the BU management, programs and program offices of Ringhals, Ågesta and SVAFO, guiding the dismantling and decommissioning programs and projects through the decision making processes and follow-up. You will interact with the program / project managers in Decommissioning Sweden (DES) and SVAFO, program sponsors, Project Portfolio Owner (PPO), other business units and staff functions, stakeholders at BA level as well as at Group level.
You will report to Head of Governance & Risk.


Main tasks and responsibilities
As PMO Investment Decision Process Owner you have the following key responsibilities:
• Guide and support the programs and projects for BUND Sweden in the decision process
• Support and participate in the preparation of documentation and coordination of the investment decision processes
• Be part in the decision support to Project Portfolio Owner
• Prepare and participate in Project Review Board
• Coordinate assurance reviews in BUND Sweden
• Coordinate asset management process (including SPOC Fleet) for BUND
• Lead or be part of portfolio analysis to support Project Portfolio Owner
• Be part in the program and project control and follow-up


Your qualifications and personal skills
• Master degree in engineering or equivalent
• Several years of relevant work experience in a position coordinating projects or programs in a demanding context
• Experience in structuring and supporting projects
• Knowledge of project management methods (i.e. VPMM)
• It is considered as advantage if you have basic knowledge in nuclear technology
• Ability to collaborate and be clear in communication as well as foresight and to work in a structured way
• Willingness to travel between all sites
• Very good verbal and written communication in both Swedish and English
• Driving license
As a person you are self-going, analytical and structural in your work. You get things done and are an effectively problem-solver. You have good communication and interpersonal skills and appreciate working with others towards a strategic vision. With your flexibility you are comfortable with working in a dynamic environment where conditions can change over time.


Location: Solna (Stockholm)
Travels to all Swedish sites (Ringhals, SVAFO, Ågesta) are included in the job.
