Sandvik Mining is a leading global supplier of equipment and tools, service and technical solutions for the mining industry. The offering covers rock drilling, rock cutting, rock crushing, loading and hauling and materials handling.
We are now looking for a PMO Manager for Real Estate Development, who will be a part of taking Sandvik Mining to the next level in Real Estate Asset Development. The position for this role is Amsterdam/Stockholm.
Key performance areas
As PMO Manager you will manage projects globally in accordance with Sandvik and Sandvik Mining?s standards and guidelines. You will allocate and secure resources for the projects, handle follow-ups, report project status and give active support in contractual, technical, organizational and other project related matters. Additionally, you will mentor and coach other Project Managers, as well as manage and motivate project teams.
You will be reporting to our Global Facility Development Manager within the Sandvik Mining Project Office. As part of the Project Office you will also assist with the development and maintenance of Facility Development standards and project models.
International travel is included in this role, approximately 60-100 days per year.
Your profile
You hold a relevant academic degree in civil engineering or equivalent knowledge acquired in another manner and has at least ten years? international experience as Project Manager for Facility Development projects within the industrial sector. You also have good computer skills, including use of the MS Office suite, and the ability to summarize and present information to Senior Management. You are also experienced in developing budgets and high level plans for Facility projects. This role will also require certain experience in construction law and a good understanding for the permitting and land acquisition process internationally. Certificate in Project Management (PMI/IPMA/Prince2 or similar) is an advantage. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are required for this position.

As a person you want to lead, and you have the strong drive needed to manage other Project Managers.
