About us - SWEP Architecture & Design Strategy
Our mission is to ensure that the SW&E-architecture at all times is suitable for defining efficient system solutions according to company strategies. We are held accountable to ensure that the organization is well-acquainted with the SW&E-architecture and takes responsibility for the complete system. The scope of our work is to set the global System Design aspects and SW Architecture and Electronics Architecture, to govern the SW&E Platform Architecture, and to decide and clarify System Design Strategies. We work both strategically, for future platforms and products, and operational supporting implementation on the current platform. We do this by proactively and continuously guide the product streams, by nursing the feature flow by supporting the product streams, and by govern, learn, and adopt by following up on architectural compliance. In the Global Architect Teams, we are organized with one team of Solution Architect team mainly focusing on the strategic long-term architectural aspects of SW & Electronics architecture. Three teams of System Architects, grouped by the name of CESA, work strategically but also focus on the operational support for the product streams to nurse the feature flow.
We are now looking for a PO for the GAT-CESA Teams
You have a genuine interest in the technical areas related to Automotive Electrical Architecture. Most likely it is natural for you to seek to continuously improve your technical leadership with the purpose to make others grow and all product streams to seek to take responsibility for the complete system solution. You take a systematic approach to visualizing and handling architectural technical debt. Our software- and electronics- architecture should enable our business, and this is a statement you genuinely represent. You are communicative and can use suitable value argumentation in dialogue with both product managers and when empowering the software developers.
Role Specifics
As a Product Owner for the GAT-CESA teams, you will be one of two-three PO’s together working on prioritizing the product backlog mainly consisting of different concept studies and activities for preparing our strategic architectural runway. It will be within your scope to own and handle the CESA team's backlog. You will ensure a prioritized and sufficiently detailed backlog. You do backlog refinement, prioritization, ensure that stories are defined, etc. You will handle the interfaces towards backlog stakeholders and represent the customer view and communicate the value for the team. Regularly, you will take higher-level program plans and priorities into account and do Iteration Planning, together with overall program levels as well as take a life cycle responsibility for architectural concepts and requirements
You and your skills
You have M.Sc in Electrical and/or Software Engineering or similar relevant experience and a genuine interest in Automotive Electrical Architecture. You are self-driven with ability to clearly express the connections between larger business goals and small backlog items.
A technical leader who empowers others and creates energy. You have ability to communicate clearly and concisely, in written and spoken English, with technical development teams as well as with managers and business teams.
Meritorious:
Solid technical knowledge in the areas related to Automotive Electrical Architecture. Experience working as a Product Owner. Experience from agile software development and understanding in the areas of efficient architecture work in large sale in-house-developing organizations, Experience from working in an international, multi-site environment. Driver’s license (B-level)
