Our customer, a well-known international and iconic software company is looking for a Policy manager/specialist for to work in their Government Affairs team located in the Center of Stockholm.
The public policy manager will support the customer’s Sweden Government Affairs in Stockholm. The candidate will join a team driving outreach and engagement on a range of public policy issues, including security, privacy, and cloud policy.
We are seeking a colleague who enjoys working independently but collaboratively in a collegial team environment within a fast-paced and dynamic company, and who is enthusiastic about developing practical approaches to policy issues. The candidate should be capable of assuming and researching vast amount of information, identifying core topics to focus on and should be able to build a solid understanding of Swedish policymaking institutions and build connections among relevant policymakers and influencers.
Tasks
- Support the Rhythm of the Business for Swedish CELA GA which includes planning, execution and progress aligned with global direction
- Monitor, research and identify relevant tech policy matters, stakeholder mapping and produce needed analyses and reports
- Liaise with other customer teams such as Brussels
- Support on executive visits and provide hands on support on public policy events
- Attend assigned external meetings, produce briefs and represent customer positions
- Execute with high integrity

Background:
minimum 3-year experience in a field with correlating responsibilities such as student organization, policy consultant, policy advisor. We are primarily looking for a candidate with public policy and/or law background.
Start date: asap in November
Duration: fixed-term contract until June 30th 2021, extension potential (max 18 months)
