COMPANY BACKGROUND
Norex International is a family-owned steel trading company with headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden. The company, representing strong growth on the international market, trades with steel and conducts contract production and services to the steel industry. Norex purchases steel in big lots or through regular deliveries from top-class European steel mills and stockholders, and sales are made globally to more than 50 countries. The company handles several product areas but is focused on trade with secondary steel. Operations are performed in two divisions and seven subsidiaries with approximately 60 employees. Deliveries are fast and flexible thanks to an extensive network of stocks around the world.

Norex is currently expanding its activities on the Polish market. This is an important step that goes in line with the company aiming to develop its already strong position in Scandinavia to become one of the market leaders in Europe. In accordance with this investment, Norex is currently looking a Sales Executive working towards the Polish market but from headoffice in Gothenburg, Sweden.


ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The role of the Sales Executive combines sales, and business development with result responsibilities. The candidate is an experienced sales person and will be responsible for increasing the overall sales volume. This includes identifying new business opportunities as well as maintaining and developing personal relations with existing and new customers. Business is mainly done from Gothenburg through telephone and e-mail and you will be reporting directly to the Head of Trade in Sweden. However the job also includes a considerable number of travels visiting potential and existing customers. The position is based at the Swedish head office in Gothenburg.


YOUR PROFILE
- You have 5 years of experience of steel sales, a strong and well documented sales record and an extensive client network within the steel industry in Poland
- High social skills and a result-oriented personality is crucial
- Strong work ethic; self-motivation and ability to work independently and to come up with own ideas and initiatives, in order to reach desired results
- You have deep product knowledge of Cold rolled and Hot rolled steel sheet products and its applications
- Understanding how industry trends impact business strategies and customer organizations, with the ability to analyze competitors and maintain awareness of the competitive environment
- You demonstrate a strong personal desire and the entrepreneurial spirit necessary for building new business opportunities
- Ability to act as a project manager in order to handle multi-tasking and plan your work in a structured way, as well as ?problem solver?; to be able to overcome potential barriers related to international business, logistics and culture
- Native speaking Polish and excellent skills in verbal/written English are required and additional language skills are seen as a bonus
