Polymer Development Engineer/Specialist

We are looking for an application development engineer to the department for Application Development and Support (AD&S) that is part of Perstorp R&D.

You will work with research and development in our laboratories on our existing and future products and applications. Our products exist in many applications such as powder-, UV-curing and water borne coatings, synthetic lubricants, polyurethane foams and elastomers.

The work is mainly performed in projects, where you will be a part of different project teams as specialist and/or project manager. Your work assignment will be both project management and laboratory work such as product and polymer synthesis and testing and evaluation of coating and polymer properties in the different applications. AD&S has a close cooperation with market development and technical service departments and aid with technical support in customer oriented activities.

You have a M.Sc or a Ph.D in polymer science or with relevant experience from industrial development work. Industrial experience from the coatings or polymer industry is a merit.
