We’re now looking for an organized, service minded and commercially focused Portfolio Business Development to join our Parts & Services organization in sales area Northern Europe. With your experience, drive and innovative approach, you set out to create a structured and value based offering. About the job
In this position, your focus is on developing our portfolio and product line, and all parts included in our offering. You help us strengthen our operations by contributing to strategic development plans, and you support us in how to best implement them. This is done by analyzing our current and future opportunities, exploring the market and our customers, as well as gathering relevant competitive insights. You ensure portfolio readiness, and you make sure that our offering holds the correct information in terms of products, services, technical and marketing material. Naturally, you also oversee that this information is distributed and available to our sales resources through a smart and timely process.
On top of this, you manage changes and updates in our portfolio, and continually align with the regional pricing team to ensure the appropriate pricing models of our offering. You’re also the key interface between our portfolio teams and regional sales teams, and you provide training and support to our sales staff and other stakeholders internally. All in all, you’re a central player in driving profitability and growth by forming an industry leading offering portfolio!
The location for this position is flexible between Sweden, Norway, Finland, UK or Germany, and travel within the sales area is included in your job.
About you
We’re looking for someone with at least five years’ experience from business development in a similar position within the industry, and it’s beneficial if you have been exposed to the fields of mining or construction. You have a technical understanding and are eager to learn about our products and services, and we think that you hold a relevant academic bachelor’s degree – perhaps within Engineering, Economics or Business. You’re also experienced in sales or customer service, and in creating value based offerings. Using digital tools and data monitoring technologies is no match for you, and experience from working with Qlickview and CRM-systems such as Sales Force is a big plus. Since we’re a truly global business, you need excellent communication skills in English, while knowledge of other European languages are advantageous.
An innovative and open mind, strong analytical skills and structured ways of working are needed in this job, and this makes it easy for you to prioritize, coordinate, establish change and achieve results. You bring new perspectives – formed by details, but always with the bigger picture in mind – and you perceptively take other people’s insights into account. As a truly networking and collaborative person, you also put high emphasize on inclusive team work, supporting each other and building strong relations. Finally, you’re confident in speaking your mind, and you embrace the power of giving and receiving feedback.
