About this opportunity
We are confronted by a unique opportunity. For the first time, there is one technology (3GPP 4G/5G) that has the potential to replace many existing narrowband technologies in the Mission Critical Communications (MCC) market. Consequently, governments (public safety, peacekeeping & defense), government-regulated industries (utilities, rail) and private owned industries (Transport, Oil&Gas, Mining, Manufacturing…) are keen to exploit this technology in the form of MCC from Ericsson
Withing Ericsson-Business Area Digital Services we have created an Enterprise offering area Mission Critical Applications (MCA) with the mission to create applications to replace existing Land mobile Radio (LMR) functionality specified in 3GPP 4G/5G standardization.
We are looking for a person with deep knowledge of the LMR/MCC market including end-user operational needs and government procurement processes. Either from Public safety and/or rail engagements

What you will do
Drive Ericsson end-to-end (e2e) offering towards Rail/FRMCS (Future Rail Mobile Communication Services) with Partners
Define e2e solution blueprint and components to enable LMR to MCA transition including internal / external,
Identify and productify INTERFACES towards partners including, training documentation, and development env.
Drive partner responsible for events and agreements with Terms and Condition.
Guide and support in standardization of 3GPP FRMCS
Provide technical sale support to Ericsson Customer Unit (CU) with industry knowledge
Support in influencing CU, Commercial Service Provider (CSP) and end-user in the future MCA solution migration from LMR solution
Support in local partnership to enable complete e2e solution.
Marketing to MCC segment
Establish good marketing material focused on end-user -ongoing collaterals, videos, demo center
Create user forums for existing MCA customers to share experience
Drive our participation selected key Rail events
Location of the position is based in Europe.
