About Group Treasury


Group Treasury & Corporate Finance is responsible for providing efficient and effective financial infrastructure, capital management and capital structure, funding of group operations, non-life insurance cover, pension debt related asset management and external relationships within the financial area for the Group. Group Treasury head office is located in Gothenburg. Group Treasury is also present in Singapore, Beijing, Greensboro and Curitiba.


About Market Operations in Group Treasury
Market Operations is a team of 6 colleagues mainly responsible for funding, liquidity management and FX for Group Treasury. When you join us you can expect to develop skills and a broad understanding of:
Global funding markets both public and private
Global liquidity management in ~20 currencies through centralized coordination
FX execution of commercial deals through Group netting and Hedging programs
Portfolio risk management with high complexity

Even though everyone in the team has their expertise area, we all work closely together to:
Support the lending activity towards VFS efficiently in all regions
Contribute to added value by active utilization of delegated risk mandates
Continue to seek cost efficient operations towards internal as well as external counterparts
Add value by being active in cross functional projects

What you will do
You will work in an international and friendly environment in close cooperation with the rest of the team. Your responsibilities may be adjusted depending on yours and the Group Treasury teams continuous development, but you can expect them to include:
Monitor financial markets
Support the management of daily operations with focus on funding, lending, liquidity management and risk management
Portfolio analysis, both from a risk management as well as from a performance follow-up perspective
Initiate and implement improvements on processes and IT solutions
Negotiations with banks and other external counterparties related to financial transactions

To be successful in this position we believe you also have:
University and/or Master degree or equivalent
Relevant working experience
Self-driven and service minded personality
Analytical and problem-solving ability
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Mathematical or statistical skills and experience of handling/analyzing large quantities of data is an advantage
Fluency in reading, writing and speaking English
