Vehicle Technology – Driver Interaction


Driver Interaction is a department within Vehicle Technology providing the driver with a safe, efficient and enjoyable interaction. We are responsible to develop a scalable and competitive user experience through easy controls and the right information supporting all our brands. We are located at Gothenburg and Bangalore.

What is the job?


You understand the Driver Interaction technology stream’s business context and coordinate the work with the high-level Driver Interaction product portfolio strategy and roadmap. You effectively align the interests of multiple and diverse portfolio stakeholders and communicate the larger picture to our technology sub streams as well as other streams.


The work includes making trade-offs and prioritizations building the backlog in order to deliver value to customers as fast as possible while still building on and further developing our product platforms.


The responsibility of the portfolio manager will include supporting and driving business cases, working with both value delivery as well as internal budget.
Be a key interface for inflow of new initiatives that originate from within Driver Interaction as well as ideas initiated externally that impacts our products.
As part of the Driver Interaction Technology Stream management team, you will play an important role and contribute to setting vision and strategy for Driver Interaction. We together as a team deliver our products while working continuously improving others and us. You will report to the Vice President Driver Interaction.


Who are you?


You have a Master´s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent. We believe you have a background in product development, preferably in electronics and software engineering development. Experience from working in agile development is a merit.

If you have a strong drive and energy level, this job will fit you well. As a person, we believe that you have customer focus, like collaboration, drive engagement and structured way of working. You have a strong strategic thinking and ability; you understand that being accountable and successful means driving activities inside as well as outside your own organization. You have excellent communication and presentation skills. In addition to this, you could work with strong sense of urgency, learn quickly when faced with new issues. The environment is dynamic, fast-paced and requires an enterprising person attitude.
