As Portfolio Manager you will join our Medical and Scientific Research Segment team and be part of driving our future business to reach our business goals and deliver customer value.

The role as Portfolio Manager
Guided by the Segment’s business plan and strategic direction you will optimize the segment portfolio of solutions & products targeting specific customers and markets. As part of the segments line management team, you will be a key contributor in defining the business plan and strategic direction for the segment. Just imagine to be the go-to person and ambassador for the segment’s target customers in Tobii’s organization to give clear direction of WHY and WHAT for the portfolio segment.
You will lead a Product Management team of Product Managers, and specialists in the context of Segments & Products and we see a great part of your work to be to continuously work with the growth of the members of the team.
Other parts this role includes are:
Be a member of the Segment Core team (cross-functional leadership team for the segment)
Operationally lead Product Managers and other stakeholders to deliver portfolio OKRs.
Accountable for a segment’s Portfolio Strategy and Execution to make segment’s business strategy real (e.g., solutions, software, hardware, and services)
Accountable for Portfolio Partner Strategy
Pricing & Offerings/Bundles strategy and execution, aligned with the total Tobii product portfolio
Solutions & Products strategy and execution, aligned with the total Tobii product portfolio
Reach financial targets (profitable portfolio, budget constraints etc) with segment portfolio

We also see you contributing to the optimization of Tobii’s total portfolio cross segment and to improve the Product Management’s ways of working.

We are looking for someone with
Extensive experience and proven track record of successful Portfolio and Product Management (holistic perspective)
Understanding of product development (hardware and software)
General understanding of business strategies and translation into execution

We also believe that a good background for this role is
university degree in business studies, engineering, computer science or related
experience of SAAS business (SW as a service)
in depth understanding of the market segment and the customer needs
