Through strong technical leadership, we lead the development of complete vehicles for Volvo Trucks and are accountable for the complete vehicle integration in FH/FM/FMX and multi-brand product development. We are a high performing, professional team of integration managers, product structure specialists and vehicle architects who have product development as our home turf.


Mission
The mission of the Portfolio Manager is to plan, develop and maintain the Product Modification portfolio of single brand Volvo and multibrand initiatives so to meet / maintain the legal and customer demands for Heavy Duty Vehicle products. It will also require taking lead in complex multi-function initiatives, driving the work until completion.


Key responsibilities
As a Portfolio Manager within Product Modification, you will have an important part of the prioritization and communication of new initiatives within the defined portfolio.
Product modification portfolio management including work planning priorities
Active in work planning of Product Modification initiatives together with stakeholders for resource securement
Support the Quest manager in the Product Modification team with handling inflow of new initiatives
Manage complex multi-function initiatives together with Vehicle Development Teams and Technology streams
Contribute to continuous improvement of way of working

Experience and competence
Since our task is to respond quickly to the customer/market demands, as well as internal business needs, we need to be dynamic, flexible and always keep continuous improvement in mind. Networking and stakeholder management are key to get things done and very important skills to keep up the flow and avoiding roadblocks.


Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
Experience from Project management and or project process knowledge
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar is a merit
Experience in Electro-Mobility installation, offering and customer usage is a strong merit
Strong leadership skills
Fluent in Swedish and English

The position is located in Gothenburg and includes occasional traveling.
