Portfolio Manager Renewable Gas to Gasum

About the role

In your role as a Portfolio Manager, you will have a tight overview of how your portfolio looks like today and put up a forecast for the future. It is important that you are curious and want to understand the market and the own portfolio in order to develop the source requirements for Traders to act on. This role requires having good handling of contracts, balances, prices and contingencies. It is also necessary that you possess excellent risk management skills to ensure the sourcing specification steers towards the target risk levels. You will work closely with Traders within Gasum who identify new opportunities and secure new agreements within renewable gas.

Market- and portfolio analysis
Form sourcing strategy
Make sourcing specifications
Maintain mass balances and identify opportunities
Perform margin and pricing analysis
Provide invoice data and routines
Develop Supply and Trading IT tools
Collaborate with Commercial Product Management and partners in the value chain


You will be a part of the Renewable Gas Team, reporting to the Team Manager in Linkoping. The other team members are located in both Finland and Sweden. You will be travelling approximately once or twice a month, occasionally with overnight stays.

Your profile

We are looking for a person who thrive on numbers and can handle high levels of responsibility in a business-savvy and result-oriented manner. Ability to plan, influence, build relationships, and communicate effectively is essential. You should also be curious and embrace new challenges with enthusiasm.

At least 5 years of experience from a similar position as a portfolio manager where procurement, analyses and business acumen were key factors
Fluent in English both orally and written
Relevant university degree in Economics, Business, Engineering or other relevant degree


Nice to have

Financial understanding and relevant education in economic risks and marginal analysis
Experience from the gas- and energy industry
Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
Experience of working with Power BI
