The service area is of high strategic importance for Scania as it is a key part of fulfilling our promise of a premium experience to our customers. And it is growing fast. This includes our digital service offering utilizing data-driven insights from our vehicles and putting them to good use in the hands of our customers, as well as our workshop-based services with solutions for repair and maintenance.


Join us as a lean-agile Portfolio Manager within Services!

We are actively recruiting a Portfolio Manager to join the global Service Portfolio. This is one of the important pieces of the puzzle that contributes to finding the right overarching balance between long- and short-term business needs and our ability to execute on those goals.


The position

In this position, you will work with portfolio management from several different perspectives. You will:


• Be driving in the improvement of the common lean-agile portfolio management framework in collaboration with the service development organization.
• Work together with product managers and product owners in implementing the items within the portfolio according to our lean-agile practices and standards.
• Work closely with the portfolio steering groups with follow-up, portfolio analysis and also guiding in the service development framework.
• Organize and run forums needed for the governance of the service portfolios in collaboration with other stakeholders.
• Be part of preparing and communicating status and expectations with regard to budget, portfolio plans and KPI follow-ups.

You would work in close cooperation with various roles within service development, Commercial Operations and Sales & Marketing, leveraging on the collective knowledge from a holistic customer and Scania perspective.


Who are you?

We believe that you have experience working with product management, product ownership, or portfolio management and enjoy working with a holistic perspective. Collaborating with stakeholders at all levels comes naturally to you, and you are able to agree on viable ways forward also when your viewpoints differ. You have a relevant university degree or equivalent work experience, for example within engineering or business. Having experience from an agile development organization is strongly meriting. English will be your everyday language at work, while fluency in Swedish is an advantage.

As a person, you are a genuine and ambitious team player who thrives in collaborating with others and who are both willing and able to understand the other persons’ perspectives. To succeed in this role, you enjoy a high-paced environment with several moving parts that you help others make sense of. Meaning that you have the ability to boil down and make complex subjects easy for anyone to understand. You are business oriented, have structured working methods and are a clear communicator verbally as well as proficient in producing and delivering presentations all the way up to the C-suite. Prestigeless and down to earth, you independently take on the task at hand and structure your time and deliveries efficiently in a reliable manner.

As a Portfolio Manager within Services you would be part of the Sales & Marketing organization and the department Service Portfolio and Delivery. The department is very much defined by its lean-agile setup where we work, learn and progress iteratively in short cycles.
