Within Marketing, the Portfolio Strategy & Planning Team is responsible for the market based portfolio and innovation strategy, portfolio planning in collaboration with product groups and market driven innovation projects. We are looking for a Portfolio Strategy Manager, who will lead the market segmentation framework and forecasting, and drive the translation of market/value chain needs into an actionable portfolio and innovation strategy.
Main responsibilities
- Define and establish segmentation approach suitable to the full Tetra Pak portfolio, short and long term
- Set up a model /framework for ongoing, repeatable analysis and forecasting of market needs
- Ensure that the full Tetra Pak portfolio strategy captures market needs, insights and foresights
- Build value chain scenarios for the 5-10+ year timeframe
Qualifications
You have a University degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Engineering. You have 5 to 10 years experience in strategy and/or segmentation working as an internal or external consultant or at a Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company. You have hands-on experience in using an analytical model for market segmentation and/or market forecasting. You have managed influential stakeholders with different needs and views. Experience in developing a market based product portfolio and/or innovation strategy relevant to the business is essential.
As a person you have good analytical skills, and are able to anticipate future needs and identify potential options and constraints. You are pro-active and usually initiate change in anticipation of future developments. The ability to communicate and interact in different environments and situations is essential. You can work together with other team members, exchanging information and supporting colleagues to achieve personal and team goals. Your natural drive in combination with a motivation to break new ground and embrace challenges will be very useful in this position. You are able to manage a project, or project-related activities. For this position we require complete fluency in English, both written and spoken.
