Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science Post-Doctoral Position at the Department of Biomedicine and Veterinary Public Health, Division of Pathology, Pharmacology and Toxicology SLU develops the understanding and sustainable use of biological natural resources.This is achieved through research, teaching, environmental monitoring and assessment and information extension.SLU has 3 000 employees, 4 200 undergraduate and postgraduate students.www.slu.se Project title: Developmental toxicity studies in the zebrafish embryo model using molecular biomarkers in combination with morphology.The zebrafish embryo is a well suited vertebrate model to study fundamental processes underlying embryonic development and toxic effects of chemicals.The project aims at evaluating and defining morphological, cellular and molecular responses to toxicants during early development. Qualifications: Applicants should have a PhD degree and be experienced in molecular biology techniques.A background in developmental biology is desirable. SLU is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
