Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences Department of Economics Post-Doctoral position in Economics SLU develops knowledge about natural resources as well as social systems - everything that lives and grows.At SLU we conduct research, teach and inform about the opportunities, and possible risks incurred, when using our forests, landscapes, soils and animals in different ways.SLU offers a broad spectrum of educational programmes and single subject courses.About 3 300 undergraduates and 800 postgraduate students are enrolled at SLU.A total of 3 200 people are employed at the University.Main campuses are located at Alnarp, Skara, Ultuna and Umeå.Research and teaching activities are carried out throughout the country. The Department of Economics, SLU, Uppsala has units for research and teaching in Business administration, Economics, and Agrarian History.In the Economics Unit we specialize on environmental and natural resource economics, and agricultural policy. www.slu.se Agricultural Economics and Policy We are looking for a post-doctoral researcher to strengthen our team working on agricultural economic, international trade and policy.Areas of interest for us are the increasing interdependencies of national economies, recent changes in agricultural policies all over the world and new trends in rural economies.It is expected that the incumbent candidate will develop an innovative research program combining empirical applications and recent developments in economic theory.
