Mid Sweden University The Department of Natural Sciences, Engineering and Mathematics Invites application for 1 Post-doctoral Research Fellow position in Renewable Materials Engineering placed in Sundsvall Ref no MIUN 2010/1082 The centre for Fibre Science and Communication Network (FSCN) at Mid Sweden University invites applications for a post-doctoral research fellow position in the area of renewable materials engineering.A successful candidate is expected to work on a project on electrospinning as method for materials engineering and surface treatment within FSCN?s program, called FORE ?Forest as a Resource, which is a biorefinary approach.Although the project aims at future industrial applications, we are interested in candidates who have a strong commitment to fundamental research.The candidates are expected to do experimental and theoretical work in the field of surface and colloidal chemistry, physics and material science.The position is initially for six month appointment, but with the possibility of extension subject to successful execution of the project.FSCN is a research centre at Mid Sweden University, conducting forefront research in the areas of fibre engineering, materials/system technology, and media technology for forest products industry.(www.miun.se/fscn) Applicants should submit a curriculum vitae, a list of publications, a short description of research interest and your long-term career goal, and contact information on three references whom we can contact.Marked with Ref.no MIUN 2010/1082.
