Can you really reach out to the whole world, while working in a tranquil idyll in the middle of nowhere? In Älmhult you can. Älmhult, Sweden is home to IKEA Communications AB, aka ICOM. ICOM produces IKEA.com, which is visited around 1.6 billion times a year. We're also behind the IKEA catalogue with a yearly circulation of around 220 million copies. On top of that, we churn out a ton of content for social media, not to mention motion media and 3D work so cutting edge that it makes the folks in California sit up and take notice. So what happens in Älmhult definitely doesn't stay in Älmhult. It reaches practically every corner of the globe.

Right now we're looking for a Post-producer. With a production rate of more than one film per day, we look for you who can handle a variety of different post production tasks on multiple motion media productions all year around. Your competence are aligned with new trends of consuming global communication and you have a strong vision of the direction of post-production including the skills of working strategic with measurement of impact and archiving.

You will be part of the Motion Media department at IKEA Communications who create, produce and deliver high quality media communication for all digital platforms all year around.

As Post producer you will steer the post production of all Motion Media within given time and cost frame to secure excellent content in alignment with IKEA´s communications strategy and values

In the role you will:
-Lead multiple motion media post-productions of local or global impact
-Create individual post-production time plan & cost-follow-up´s for every projects - securing agreed quality within these given frames.
-Allocate and manage the necessary resources, both internal and/or external, needed for each project (staff, equipment).
-Take part of all post production meetings between assignors, project leaders and external partners.
-Edit in-house films, mix sound, grade final result, ad subtitle, master and publish.
-Supervise post-production ensuring all communications are in line with IKEA values.
-Create guidelines for file formats in relation to distribution platforms and supervise these guidelines within all post production.
-Create solution for a sustainable archive.
-Create solutions for methodically measure impact on consumers
-Be responsible for being up to date with new technology and techniques relevant to post production.
-Build and maintain good professional relationships ensuring close cooperation with work groups, assignors, clients and other outsourced services within ICOM´s internal and external networks.

To be successful in this role, we think you:
-Have extensive experience creating stories within post production.
-Are experienced in storytelling and have great communicational skills.
-Are Innovative in you solutions and able to handle quick decisions.
-Are able to manage a heavy workload during peaks in a calm and structured way, as well as handle multiple assignments in parallel.
