Duties:
The postdoc will 1) characterize the diversity and abundance of organisms using state-of-the art statistical models, 2) develop methods to analyze eDNA, traditional inventory data, climate models, and remote sensing data in a common framework, and 3) address fundamental questions regarding the roles of stochasticity, demography, and external forcing in shaping organismal abundance and diversity.
Qualifications:
A PhD in ecology as well as experience in time series analysis, statistical modelling and population dynamics. As postdoctoral appointments are career-developing positions for junior researchers, we are primarily looking for candidates obtained a doctoral degree within the last three years.Experience in the analysis of genetic diversity from large-scale sequencing data using R and/or Python is also required.
