Information about the division
The postdoctoral position is placed at the Division of Innovation and R&D Management (IRDM) at the Department of Technology Management and Economics. The research at IRDM focuses on organizing and managing Innovation and R&D activities in large, established organizations. The research is undertaken in collaboration with both private and public organizations, and it focuses on challenges, mainly of strategic significance, that these organizations are facing. These challenges – often implying innovation challenges in terms of doing differently - call for change and development of ways of working and organizational redesign.

The primary duty as a postdoc is to perform research, independently and as a member of a research group, to participate in ongoing and future projects at the division, and to publish the results in highly-ranked academic journals.
The candidate is expected to work and interact as a full member of the division. This means that we expect the postdoc to be committed to and to initiate activities taking place at the division and at the department.
The research requires the applicant to interact with society and the academic community, to be able to plan and organize the work, and to communicate the scientific results to the public, the industry and policy-makers, mainly through scientific publications and conferences or seminars.
The position includes 80% research and 20% teaching (including e.g. participation in courses at the bachelor and master levels, thesis supervision or course administration).
