The School of Business and Economics is one of the largest business schools in Sweden with close to 4000 students. The School of Business and Economics have five research groups in different areas of business administration and economics. The research group in Corporate Governance is now inviting applications for a two year post doc position in Corporate Governance and Financial Accounting. Responsibilities for this position include:



• Conducting research that meets high international levels, publishing research in high level journals and communicating the results to the business community and society at large.

• Participating in the Corporate Governance research group and actively initiate new research programs and projects as well as applying for external funding for these initiatives.

• Contributing successfully to the competence development of students by providing research-based teaching and supervision.

• Participating in service to the Linnaeus University community, which includes taking part in faculty activities, societal interaction and international collaboration.

The position is limited to two years full time and located in Växjö, Sweden. The contract can start immediately.

Selection criteria:

Recently received PhD degree (maximum 2 years since receiving the doctoral degree). The applicant must show evidence of excellence in accounting research such as articles published in (leading) refereed journals, books published by international academic publishers and evidence of promising work-in-progress such as work presented at important international conferences. The applicant should also show evidence of excellence in teaching in the area of Financial Accounting and Corporate Governance.

Additionally, the applicant must have excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Documented research experience in the area of corporate governance and financial accounting is expected, including a minimum of two peer-reviewed research publications. A stronger list of publications is a plus. The applicant should possess a positive and driven personality with a high level of interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate with others and a high level of flexibility are of great importance since this position includes active collaboration with other researchers in the Corporate Governance research group.
