Summary
The Raoul Wallenberg Institute is currently seeking candidates for the position of Post-doctoral researcher in technology, digital transformation and human rights. The position is full-time, with start date as soon as possible. The contract will be signed for a period of two years. The position will be based in Lund, Sweden.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities
· Independent research on the sub-project on technology, digital transformation and human rights
· Collaboration with the Visiting Chair and other post-doctoral researcher within the project exploring the future of human rights, as a closely knit team
· Teaching in the second and third cycles of studies and supervision of degree projects, but up to no more than 20% of working hours
· Active communication of research findings and activities through the RWI’s and Law Faculty’s outlets
· Actively seeking external research funding as a way to follow-up and scale-up the project
· Contribution to RWI international programs with a view to their development and implementation
· Contribution to a dynamic research environment at RWI and at Law Faculty
· Collaboration with relevant actors and stakeholders in the wider society
Qualifications
· A doctoral degree in legal science, or other discipline relevant to the subject of study if intermediate law-related knowledge can be demonstrated.
· Advanced understanding of the human rights system and/or experience in the implementation of human rights.
· Strong expertise in technology and proven inclination to apply it to developmental, environmental and/or human rights policy areas.
· Very good oral and written proficiency in English.
