Postdoctoral position(s) in immunological research

The position(s), 1-2, will be within the Institute of Medicine and is a fulltime position for two years according to "Avtal om tidsbegränsad anställning som postdoktor".Admission as soon as possible.

The group is located within the Department of Rheumatology and Inflammation research.The research is primarily focused on mechanisms governing immunity and tolerance.We have shown that the pre-B cell receptor may be one of the genetic factors underpinning the development of systemic rheumatic diseases (Keenan et al, Science, 2008).The aim of the project is to investigate our animal model(s) in greater detail, with focus on immunity and tolerance, combined with research of a more translational character.

Requirements: PhD in relevant subject obtained within three years from last application date.A proven track record is required with publications within peer reviewed international journals and very good technical skills.Ideally, the applicant should have extensive experience in immunological techniques, working with molecular biology techniques, cell cultures and experimental animal models.
