Postdoctoral position in trace analysis of new emerging contaminants A one - two year post-doctoral fellowship in trace analysis of new emerging organic contaminants is open at the Department of Chemistry.Our research is directed towards many aspects of organic contaminants in the environment, including development of analytical techniques, formation mechanisms, environmental transport, transformation and fate as well as environmental risk assessment.Please, also visit our homepage www.chemistry.umu.se.The research of the open position will focus on development of analytical techniques for multi-residue determinations of anthropogenic organic compounds in environmental matrices.Polar compounds will be of special interest.We are seeking candidates with documented skills in trace analyses of organic pollutants in various environmental matrices.The candidate should be experienced in different coupled chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques, such as GC-HRMS, LC-MS, and LC-MS/MS.The candidate must have PhD degree or plan to graduate during the spring 2008.The application should include description of past research (one page), an expression of research interests (one page), CV, list of publications, and names of three references.The postdoc position is planned for one - two years and the final duration will be open for discussion.Documents sent electronically should be in MS WORD or PDF format.
