Information about the division
The Departments of Microtechnology and Nanoscience and of Applied Physics focuses on research, innovation and education within the fields of future electronics, photonics, bio- and nanosystems. A close collaboration with Swedish and international partners within academy, industry and society enables scientific excellence and creates an innovative environment. In addition to the 200 researchers and Ph D students, MC2 houses a cleanroom for micro- and nanofabrication with the latest equipment.
At the Applied Quantum Physics Laboratory, we work on theoretical aspects of future high-performance nano-electronic systems. Our research covers broad spectrum of problems, everything from the fundamental problems to the very applied ones. We work in close collaborations with the experimental groups at the Linnaeus Center “Engineered Quantum Systems” at Chalmers. Our major research interests cover the directions: quantum information processing with superconducting electronics, mesoscopic superconductivity and transport in nanostructures, molecular electronics, graphene electronics.
Major responsibilities
Your major responsibility as a postdoc is to perform your research in a research group. The position may also include supervising master's and/or PhD students to a certain extent.
