Postdoctoral position in tokamak plasma simulation and modelling

Arbetsbeskrivning

Information about the division
The Plasma Physics and Fusion Energy group at the Department of Earth and Space Sciences has its main activities in modelling, simulation and analysis of tokamak plasmas. A major part of the work is towards the establishment of a predictive capability of turbulent transport for fusion energy grade plasmas and model validation towards current experiments. The group has extensive collaborations with major fusion devices and are taking part in the developments for ITER and DEMO and the activities are fully integrated with the European (EUROfusion) activities.

The details of the departmental research activities may be found at http://www.chalmers.se/en/departments/rss/.

Major responsibilities
