The Postdoc project is expected to contribute to the development and testing of energy efficient wireless sensor networks for measurements of primarily carbon dioxide and methane, in various applications. Important tasks include to ensure energy supply and effective data transfer in remote locations with complex terrain and under variable weather conditions.
The work requires responsibility for research, including planning, creative development work and trouble-shooting, field work in remote locations during system tests in Sweden and/or abroad, experiments and sampling for e.g. system calibration, and analyses of samples and data. In addition, an important part is to write and publish scientific papers in collaboration with other researchers, and in different ways contribute successfully to research initiatives, and develop positive, stimulating and creative working conditions.

• Handling of large amounts of data and databases storing these data.
• Programming and modeling of relevance given the above requirements.
• Relevant types of IoT applications
• Distributed sensor networks in challenging outdoor environments.
• Visualisation and extraction of information from complex multidimensional data.
