Our Great Opportunity
We are now looking for an intermediate or a senior power amplifier (PA) designer to our growing team. We are developing PA:s for Ericsson’s future radio systems. We are working on all horizons from research, pre-development to product development as well as after-market. The PA:s cover all applicable power levels and frequency bands used for mobile narrow band and broadband applications.

To be successful in the role you must have
A university degree: MS in Electronics or Engineering physics or equivalent
Domain experience: Minimum 5 years within PA design
Business understanding, it is meriting if you have experience from the telecom industry
Core Proficiencies
Minimum 5 years of experience working with PA:s. You could discuss PA design and key requirements with a transistor vendor, a mobile infrastructure vendor, a university, or a research institute.
Experience in different PA modes, classes, and architectures.
Familiar with transistor technology and different device vendors.
Understand the PA design requirements: stability analysis, thermal challenges, design for volume production, etc.
Skilled in ADS or AWR. It is meriting if you have experience with 3D EM simulation tools (HFSS, CST, etc.).
Familiar with all kinds of lab equipment, including automating test equipment and test routines. It is meriting if you have used load-pull equipment.
Experience with multi-chip modules (MCM) or monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMIC).
Meriting if you have volume production experience.
Familiar with DPD and memory effects and how they impact PA design.
