The group (Power Electronics Inverter Design) consists of two teams driving the development of traction Inverters for our Battery Electric Vehicles. What’s in it for you?
Our Power Electronics Department designs the brain and muscles of the Electric Vehicle propulsion system, the traction inverter hardware & software as well as power conversion and charger units. If you are Power Electronics Designer that aims to find the most innovative solutions for the world’s best electric drive systems, then you apply to join our team. 

What you’ll do
You will design traction inverters, focusing on the power channels, the DC to AC conversion stack, where the magic happens! As a Power Electronics Design Engineer:
* You will contribute to define and optimize solutions that best fulfil our requirements, you will select and size the technologies and the components needed and finally perform test activities including fault-tracing, bring-up, functional and reliability verification.
* You will be independently leading small assignments through all development phases.
* You will prepare and gather design documentation such as schematics, design descriptions, design reviews and design guidelines, etc.. will also be among your tasks.


You and your skills
* We believe you have Master´s Degrees in Electronics Engineering or other related electrical engineering majors, with a power electronics curriculum.
* You have 0-3 years of experience in power electronics design within industrial applications, better if in automotive.
* You have basic knowledge in Power semiconductors and gate drivers, as well as passive components design and selection.
* You have basic experience in Power Modules dimensioning, selection and validation. Previous experience in Power Module Packaging will be strongly considered.
* You have a basic knowledge in Power Electronics Reliability
* You are familiar with design and simulation tools such as Matlab, Simulink, PLECS, PSpice, Altium, ANSYS, etc...
* Knowledge in worse-case circuit analysis, failure mechanism and reliability in power electronics is meritorious.
