Power Electronics Engineer

At Elonroad we invent and build electric roads, which allow electric vehicles to charge while driving. This technology allows reducing EV battery sizes with 50-80%, and gives EVs theoretically infinite range. Our mission is to spread electric roads across the globe, which the goal to enable carbon emission free transportation, and save the climate.
We are now looking for skilled power electronics engineers to accelerate our small and agile R&D team. As a compact but growing company we have very little hierarchy, and everyone gets the opportunity participate in important engineering designs.
As a power electronics engineer at Elonroad, you will
- design and build prototype electronics devices for electric road vehicles
- evolve the electronics of the electric road itself
- be working with 0-1000V and 0-1000A
- build electronics according to relevant safety and performance standards
- engage in optimizing electronic designs for mass production, including
cost reductions, robustness improvements, et.c.
- collaborate closely with colleagues to create the best possible technical solutions
- perform hardware related embedded programming to realize our designs
- design test equipment for circuit boards


You
- have several years of experience designing electronics, and have actively participated in complete development cycles from design to product
- are thrilled by encountering and solving new problems
- have a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Applied Physics or similar, or some equivalent combination of experience and education.
