About this opportunity
Board Power Design at Lindholmen is responsible for research, development, and maintenance of Board Power solutions to a majority of Ericsson's product portfolio. We are a part of Ericsson’s global design organization and engaged in developing products for the present and future mobile networks. At our site we are five sections forming a competence center with responsibility to provide power solutions to the Ericsson organization.
Our competence center is based on teamwork with experienced and dedicated individuals. We believe that our employees are the key to our success.
Board Power Design Digital is now looking for an experienced SW designer that can strengthen the SW team. The team is working with the next generation of digital power designs that is used in many Ericsson products.
What you will do
You will belong to the SW team working with the DPP (Digital Power Platform) and test tool development. The DPP platform consists of two parts; BPM (Board Power Manager) and a GUI. The BPM is programmed in C, and the GUI is done in C#. The test tools/unit test/test environment are programmed in mainly C and C++.
Work in close cooperation with power hardware design and with global power system suppliers.
Interact with design teams across Ericsson, such as digital design, system design and building practices.
Co-operate with global production sites and other design centers in Sweden and China is part of the daily work.
You will bring
Initiative and a willingness to try new methods and techniques. You work well independently, but you are also a team player with good communication skills. You can in a methodical way do measurements/verification testing and documentation to ensure good quality.
You have worked some years within the field and have:
Bachelor or Master of Science
Experience of programming in C, C#, and C++
Experience in embedded development
Experience of communication protocols such as I2C, SPI and UART
Experience from working with Git
Digital/analog HW knowledge and understanding of schematics
Experience of UNIX/Linux
Experience from scripts such as Perl and Python
Experience from test driven development
Good cooperation & communication skills to spread knowledge and secure a sound product quality.
Good knowledge of working with SW design according to scrum
Fluent in written and spoken English.
You have an analytical approach, a strong drive for results and customer focus. Most of all you have an inquisitive mind, and a thirst for knowledge.
