The Electric Driveline Department is part of the Vehicle Propulsion unit. The department and the Electric Drive Agile Release Train (EDHW ART) deliver products with high quality and with a clear ownership within the development teams to our Electric Propulsion Product Stream. The EDHW ART develops El Drives system/components including El Machines and Inverters highly integrated into our Electric Vehicle Architectures.
What´s in it for you
As a System Design engineer, you will be a central part of the development team for power electronics hardware for the Electric Driveline. You will focus on the requirements on the complete inverter and together with our design engineers balance our design solutions in order to optimize attributes versus cost. You will focus particularly on the system safety aspects of our solutions in order to reach a design that fulfils all requested safety goals.
You will have a leading role in solving problems in a structured way and ensuring built in quality.
You will also, together with our system architects, ensure that our power electronics design roadmap fulfils our future strategic needs.
The Inverter Design team is a new product team in which we build up our engineering ability to design inverter technology. For the System Design engineer position, we are looking for a person who has considerable professional experience within safety critical automotive power electronics design and systems engineering.
You and your skills
You have a University degree within Electrical engineering /Power Electronics/systems engineering,
Substantial industrial experience in High Voltage system design.
Senior experience in product development, working methods and project execution.
You have a high ability and a strong will to continuously learn and develop your skillset in El Drive technology/development.
You are very comfortable to cooperate and communicate with people, both within the organization and with engineering partners.
You are great with oral, written and visual communication and presentation in English.
You are business oriented, flexible and performance driven with the courage to take decisions and be accountable.
You are a team player who likes to collaborate with your colleagues and contribute to a good team spirit. You take responsibility also outside your own area. You contribute to team competence building.
Experience and training in Scrum/Agile/Scaled Agile work practices is a merit
