Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

To become one of the biggest and most profitable Truck manufacturers in Asia, Scania is increasing our presence in the Chinese markets through a new production plant as well as building local R&D capabilities.

We are now looking for Group Managers for Engine development and Transmission development that can help us to localize, test and adapt components for the Chinese market and manage them over time. You will build your organisation from scratch and develop efficient processes that secures our success.

Your profile
• You have a solid experience in leading development Teams within Powertrain development, preferably from different functions.
• You enjoy working in an International environment, preferably you have been working abroad before.
• You take initiative even if the road ahead is unknown and you live by the principle “Dare to try, manage the risk”.
• You are a confident leader and can manage an organisation even though not everything is in place.
Since you will manage Chinese employees it is important that you feel comfortable in both written and spoken English. And most important of all, you feel excited about taking on a new country, language, and culture together with us at Powertrain Development Industrial Operations Asia!
Your location
Today our offices are located in Södertälje and during next year we will relocate to our new offices in China.
