PR and Communication Manager

PR and communication manager, Surgical Division

To achieve our objectives and to be able to fulfill our ambitious Surgical Strategy, the Branding & Communication team are looking to recruit a PR and Communication manager as a new position to drive excellence in public relations, written external and internal communication in the Surgical division. The position is based in Gothenburg.

Purpose of position:
The purpose of the position is to be responsible for public relations (PR) activities and generate internal and external written communication material including the web, supporting the overall brand and marketing communication activities for Mölnlycke Health Care, Surgical in accordance with the short and long term strategy.

Key responsibilities:
As a team member in the Marketing and Communication team in Global Marketing, reporting to the Marketing Communication
Director, key responsibilities will include

- Development and execution of a Surgical PR plan, including creating innovative and engaging concepts to gain positive media coverage, writing and distribution of press-releases, manage media contacts and issue management

- Development and execution of internal and external written communication ensuring the company brand values and key messages are effectively promoted

- Working with internal teams to generate relevant content for the website and other communication platforms including newsletters, articles, website publications, etc

- Reviewing and developing internal and external communications to support the needs of the business

Personal qualities:
You are a team player and works comfortably with internal teams and external customers. You are highly self-motivated and able to work independently, yet seek support when needed. You are able to work under pressure and to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Background and experience:
- Degree in Marketing, media, communication or demonstrated experiences
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- More than 5 years experience in PR and communications preferably within medical device or pharmaceutical business preferably in an international environment
