Job Description

To sustain our growth plans, we are looking for someone to strengthen our Consumer Engagement team. The role sits in our Brand & Marketing Organization, your main responsibilities will include translating the Brand & Marketing vision into an actionable strategy for consumer engagement and community activations and also in charge of the overall global consumer engagement and event strategy which includes initiating, leading, and producing projects to drive brand awareness and engagement. In this role, you will be leading a team of experts with different expertise as well as aligning brand partnerships with commercial conversations and increasing efficiency to extend Monki’s network beyond its current existence to meet the ambitious growth goals for 2022 and beyond.
Drive the vision for strong brand partnerships aligned with Monki’s purpose, creating co-branded strategies and developing year-long term plans to support the partnerships.
Develop a global strategy that translates into local relevant consumer activations.
Develop and ideate unique, engaging story angles to develop innovative custom activations that breaks through the social clutter and supports the reach of Monki.
Collaborate with internal-, external stakeholders and partners
Develop a digital and IRL activation toolbox for retail, including but not limited to store openings, store events, community outreach, and events.
Define KPIs, follow-up on and share key information, analyze data trends and project (recap) analysis to measure the success of all consumer activations, and share with all relevant stakeholders.
Set, manage and follow up on budget related to assigned projects.

You also know how to build hype and how to host events that brings Monki, partners, collaborators, influencers, talents, and customers together. You are up to date with global trends, and you like to challenge yourself to find new ways of interacting with the young Monki community
You have an education within Consumer experience, Communication, PR, Event or Brand Marketing
You have at least 5-7 years of experience in a similar position.
You have experience working across all tiers of influencers (micro, mid, top tier, traditional experts, non-profits, commercial entities) and nuances of working with each.
You have experience in negotiating with outside talent-, production-, and creative agencies, including the briefing process, negotiating contracts, and determining distribution plans for the content or events created
Proven track record to manage teams to create strategic and creative activations and campaigns that deliver on KPIs and drive ROI
Proven track record in building, growing, and maintaining relationships with relevant external partners and talents to grow Monki’s network.
You have experience with developing event strategies, store opening, community outreach projects
You have strong interpersonal-, written- and verbal communication skills
Additional Information
You will be leading a team, part of the Brand & Marketing Mid Management team and reporting to the Head of Brand and Marketing.
