Acne Studios is a Swedish based fashion company with a global reach that sells its products through 650 retailers in more than 40 countries and more than 30 concept stores located in Paris, London, New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen, among others. It is a fast growing company with a yearly turnover of roughly 100 MEUR. The headquarter is located in the Old Town in Stockholm, and employs around 120 people. Apart from the Stockholm office, Acne Studios operates offices in Paris, New York, London, Oslo and Copenhagen.
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a highly qualified PR coordinator with a proven track record in creating outstanding editorial results. The day-to-day relation with media and influencers is the backbone of the Acne Studios PR function and the focus for the PR coordinator. By being updated, well-connected and structured, the PR coordinator is our go-to person that makes sure that our brand and collections are visible in the right media and on the right people. The PR coordinator plans and executes local PR activities based on global plans and is responsible for the local showroom and synchronizing activities with other departments, offices and agencies.
With an eye for style, result drive and natural social skills, you will be the figure head of the department.
The Marketing/PR department has the overall responsibility for the Acne Studios identity and communication in media and own channels including retail and acnestudios.com. The position is based at the Acne Studios headquarters in Stockholm and reports to the Head of PR.
Your tasks will include but not be limited to:
· Media and influencer relations, develop local relations and proactively seek new opportunities
· Local PR activation, adapt, execute and follow up on global plans
· Showroom, plan, present and handle logistics of PR collections and PR showroom
· Shows, presentations and press days, plan, execute and follow-up on local media presence
· Media assets, edit, distribute and keep media assets
· Monitoring and reporting, according to global briefs and templates
QUALIFICATIONS
· At least three years of experience in operational PR or editorial tasks
· Deep knowledge about fashion as well as an interest in other creative fields such as art, music and literature
· Naturally service minded
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· A proactive approach to problem solving
· Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask
· Well documented writing skills
· Fluency in Swedish and English required, additional languages a benefit
· Highly motivated, performance and action oriented, yet a team-player
