Arbetsbeskrivning
Do you like games? Do you like talking to people about those games? What about having those conversations in writing? We are looking for a Public Relations Manager to join our PR team at Paradox Interactive.
Your mission
As Public Relations Manager, you’re responsible for leading and coordinating PR efforts for a selected portfolio of products and brands within Paradox Interactive’s catalog of games. You’re the default point of contact and person in charge of everything PR-related for the teams working on your assigned games; from defining PR strategies and goals to coordinating day-to-day operations and managing the PR budget. You’re part of the larger PR & Communications team, and you report to the Head of Marketing.
You work in close collaboration with the Product Marketing Managers in charge of the games you’re attached to, but you’re not an isolated resource handling all operations yourself. In order to achieve the objectives set for the games you are in charge of, you will work with members of the different Marketing disciplines and coordinate a set of PR contractors and agencies attached to Paradox; both to cover various local markets, and to leverage key expertise required for your plans.
The skills we’re searching for…
3+ years of professional experience in communications and PR in the game industry, or relevant adjacent fields.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a proven capacity to collaborate and coordinate with multiple teams and international partners.
Solid and reliable project management capabilities, and a problem-solving-oriented mindset.
Fluency in written and spoken English, additional languages are a plus.
We believe that you are a proactive and energized PR Manager with excellent communication skills and a willingness to hit the ground running. We need someone with exceptional writing skills and an open mindset, a team player who investigates the “why” of things and demonstrates a strong sense of ownership, as you will work in a highly autonomous and trusting environment.
